Downtown Bellevue continues to attract major employers, and Uber’s latest office lease is another strong sign of that momentum.

According to a recent report, Uber has signed a lease for approximately 170,000 square feet at Four106, a newly completed office tower at 380 106th Ave. NE in downtown Bellevue. The deal is considered one of the city’s largest office leases in recent years and expands Uber’s regional footprint to more than 285,000 square feet across Bellevue and Seattle.

For Bellevue residents, buyers, and investors, this kind of office expansion matters. Large employer commitments help reinforce downtown Bellevue’s long-term appeal as a place to live, work, and invest. More office activity can support nearby restaurants, retail, and everyday foot traffic, while also strengthening demand for housing close to the urban core. That is especially relevant as more buyers continue to prioritize walkability, convenience, and access to transit.

Four106 is a 485,000-square-foot office tower completed in 2025, and it is located roughly half a mile from Bellevue’s downtown light rail station. The building is one of the few downtown properties still offering large blocks of premium office space, which makes this lease notable in today’s Bellevue office market.

The report also notes that tenant improvements are already underway, with construction planned for at least two floors. That suggests Uber’s presence in Bellevue is not just symbolic, but operationally meaningful.

Real Estate Implications

From a real estate perspective, this is another reminder that downtown Bellevue remains one of the Eastside’s most important business and residential centers. As major companies continue to invest in Bellevue, the connection between office growth, neighborhood vibrancy, and housing demand remains worth watching.
